So the thing is to analyze the pattern, pattern are either shifting or arrangements-

Shifting is done either interchanging positions of elements of left to right (numeric ascending, descending) ,alphabetic order shifting.

Arrangement can be done according to alphabetic series in order, reverse order, sum of the positions of alphabets, first alphabet of the given series position number, ascending order  of numbers, alternate number and alphabet, or anything that make some sense.

So this is quite tough to find the correct pattern on time, but practice is the key.
