You can use it as your major strength. This is something you should get habitual to. The information about the things around us.
A banker deals in money; and money left no field behind. Everything has something with "money" today. So, A banker should at least know every little thing around the Globe...
The current affairs section is not a subject, it is the information flowing around us. It is not confined to any book or magazine, it's dynamic.
You should try to flow with it, don't let yourself bounded with any timetable or book for this section. JUST FLOW WITH IT...
